The Nana Heidi and Tawney Fund is an endowment which the YGRR Board established in 1991 to provide future long term security for our program and the Goldens who will need our services. At the present time, this fund is a modest endowment for an organization the size of YGRR. Gifts to the endowment fund will be accumulated until the Fund grows to a size that will generate adequate investment revenue to assist in paying operating expenses. Until that time, all of the endowment is placed in cruelty free investment programs and all dividends are reinvested. In the event of an emergency, the endowment fund would be utilized. YGRR invests in its own future by transferring funds from our operating account to the endowment each year. We encourage YGRR members and friends to help us build this fund which provides a security blanket for the Goldens of the future who will need our services. Your gift commemorating a special occasion or achievement or honoring the memory of a special relative, friend or pet is a wonderful tribute that will help us provide our services to Rescue Goldens awaiting adoption. In addition to the name of the person, pet or event being honored or memorialized, you may provide a name and address if you wish us to send a gift card to someone other than you. Thank you. |
